Aaron is a third-year Human-Centered Computing Ph.D. student. He received his bachelor’s degree in Gaming, Interactive Media, Mobile Technology from Boise State University in 2019. Aaron’s research interests are a combination of human-computer interaction, virtual reality (VR), and accessibility. Aaron hopes to increase VR’s accessibility for older adults and people with disabilities by approaching VR from a human-centered focus, where VR is made accessible to the user rather than the user needing to adapt to the technology.
Aaron’s current research focuses on exploring accessible VR systems and applications and their benefits for older adults.
