Paula MacDowell, Ph.D., is an assistant professor of Educational Technology and Design and Acting Department Head of Curriculum Studies at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a recognized leader in immersive technologies for learning and works closely with teachers to integrate AR/VR in their classrooms to enhance learner engagement, empowerment, inclusion, and ingenuity. Her research program studies the design of immersive learning experiences for pro-social and environmental change. MacDowell serves as the Practitioner Chair for the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN).
